Kim Willson Rymer

Kim practiced occupational therapy for 26 years before becoming a full-time Davis Facilitator. She worked extensively with children with learning problems in both clinical and school settings. Kim was introduced to the Davis Dyslexia Correction Program by a parent whose son had made significant changes in reading and writing in just one week. She read The Gift of Dyslexia by Ronald Davis and realized that the profile described in the book fit almost all of her clients: smart and talented in many different ways, but experiencing significant challenges in school.

In 1999, Kim began working with students using techniques from the book, The Gift of Dyslexia, with instant success. She became a licensed Davis Facilitator in 2002 and soon realized that the Davis methods were what she needed to help almost every student resolve their difficulties and move forward in school and life. She is also thrilled to be offering the Davis Autism Approach and has witnessed the wonderful changes clients experience as they master the concepts and live life through their new understanding.

Kim has come to realize that what we call dyslexia/ADD/ADHD is very common. Everyone she meets knows someone who fits this profile! She feels that this thinking and learning style needs to be recognized, accepted and celebrated in the education system. By including all learning styles, every student will feel accepted and successful in their own way.
