Math (dyscalculia)

Organization

Social skills

Life skills

We believe that learning “disabilities” are the result of a particular way of thinking and are correctable and sometimes preventable when the person is taught the way they learn best.

How do we help?

We use the highly effective Davis Correction and Mastery Programs and the Davis Autism Approach.

Our intensive, week-long programs show the visual-spatial-kinesthetic learner a new way to learn – without medication – using their natural learning style rather than focusing on his learning weakness. During our week-long, one-on-one programs, the difficulties begin resolving, self-esteem improves and the client has a clear process ahead to continue the changes until his goals are met.Learn more

37 Common Characteristics of Dyslexia

Autism Characteristics

Did you know?

Between 10 to 15% of the population is dyslexic.  This means two or three students in every classroom find school difficult.  If we consider that the symptoms vary from very mild to severe and affects each person differently, there may be even more students in each classroom who would benefit from teaching methods that serve all students.

In Canada the term learning disability is often used.  In the U.S. and the U.K the term dyslexia is more common. Other terms that correspond to being dyslexic include: language learning disability, writing disability, reading disability, communication disorder, auditory processing disorder, visual memory difficulties, math disability, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and others.

Learning Solutions is not focused on clinical labels.  We are interested in helping our clients unlock their natural learning style, resolve confusion and unleash their potential to learn anything they want without the use of medication and physical aids.
